How does this work?

Spruce Mountain Guitars is a small, boutique operation.  In keeping with that philosophy, I am focused on keeping prospective clients within a fairly close range of my shop.

Building a guitar (or any stringed instrument) is a time consuming venture.  We'll spend upwards of 250 hours crafting yours.  Not many people have the luxury of traveling across the country to spend a month or five in a hotel while we build, so I'm focused on customers in the Burlington VT area--much easier to coordinate class times with a simple commute.

I do and will build custom guitars for internet clients, however based on the difficulties of communication and the capricious nature of wood, such opportunities are limited to a very few builds per year and subject to some fairly strict agreements regarding satisfaction with the finished product.
